It is very hard for me to write this blog post. As part of this great nation, I want better days and greater things for us and the world. Yet while celebrating under the fireworks, the charts that I read and the exchange of ideas with my colleagues leave me bitter about what we may face. I dislike and disapprove of fearmongering, especially in astrology as a means to pull attention. But I won’t be holding anything back on what I see, for we need to be prepared. I hope that the possibilities we astrologers are raising the flag about will never come true this year. Let’s dive in.

What does the 250th year demand from the USA?

If I were to predict a list of the most dominant headlines this year, it would be Allies, Congress, Parties, Institutions, Markets, Public Confidence and Treaties. The focus will be shifting more to neighboring countries and domestic narratives rather than international ones. We will talk about media, transportation, schools and justice. There is one more headline, but since it deserves its own section, you can read it next.

I think that the USA will have a test this year around these topics, and the expectation of this test will be “fairness.” If we act with fairness and follow the founding principles of this nation, we will be rewarded. Of course, there will be damage if we are unfair.

There are multiple pillars of philosophy behind astrology, and I want to share one, as it is very related with my message today. The hermetic maxim “As Above, So Below. As Below, So Above” tells us that the parts and the whole reflect each other. As individuals, we may think that we have no impact or authority over how the institutions and our government act and decide on a daily basis, and that our only power is to vote. That is wrong. The way we act while interacting with our neighbour, the car next to us in the traffic jam, the person working at the register in the grocery store and the person we serve in our work, all have a ripple effect. Even a small percentage of conscious people acting in a certain way on these small matters makes an impact on the future of a nation.

For this next 1 year, be fair and kind. Kindness and fairness spread!

What’s the concerning thing?

The Mars and Uranus conjunction signifies unexpected, surprising and explosive energy. When these two come together, almost every 2 years, we expect accidents, earthquakes, explosions, including natural ones. The thing that makes this one special is that it is happening exactly on July 3 and will be continuing on July 4. We use the Solar Return technique, which is the sky at the exact time when the Sun returns to the birth chart degree, and evaluate that sky to understand what this age will look like. So this 3-4 day conjunction, because it is happening on July 4, will echo throughout the 250th age of the United States. This is the biggest and loudest astrological signature about the USA's next age.

Now when we evaluate this energy specifically for the USA’s chart, it is not for the faint of heart. This shock hits the national body, identity and security of the United States. Rebellions, sudden and unexpected military events, security events, accidents, cyber/media/transportation disruptions, civil agitation or events that impact the health and wealth of the nation. These things can also trigger changes in diplomatic relations, public disapproval around them, and damage to the perception of how the USA is known in the world.

Folks, we are in for a ride. I can’t give you any financial advice, but I, myself, would not be making any high-risk bets during this year and would be extra careful about my own and my family’s health.

The topics regarding the stock market and technological advancements are likely to be loud too. When you read this, the first topic that will come to your mind is AI. There may be further advancements, but it looks like there is another area of technology that will likely be leaping. As for the stock market, my reading is more that it will have an impact due to this unexpected event.

Another reason to be cautious: Chiron has just moved into Taurus and this is the USA’s 6th house; it is the health of the population, epidemics and sicknesses. This house also signifies the well-being of the military, government employees and the general working population. Chiron gives wounds as well as healing. Given the other parameters, I believe we will likely take a wound first in these topics before healing. It will likely show its impact until winter and then it may fade, and we may think we recovered, only for it to return much more strongly in Spring of 2027.

People, Belief and Pressure

Is there nothing positive? Well, Jupiter will be moving into Leo, and based on the USA’s chart, there can be expansion and opportunity through belief, law, courts, higher education and religion. There is also positive energy around media, schools and logistics. BUT, this Jupiter has an opposition with Pluto in Aquarius.

There will likely be some power struggles and ideological polarization. Propaganda battles, judicial and constitutional fights, conflict with academics. And Aquarius is the people while Leo is leadership. So there will be tension between the government and the people, and between different groups. Another Aquarian power symbol is the technology companies and leaders. They will likely have conflicts with the government leadership. If we balance it out and do the best for the interests of the United States, this energy will take us to a better place.

Jupiter and Pluto oppositions signify economic issues in Financial Astrology. Given the Moon’s position in the chart too, the nation and people will likely be under pressure financially and emotionally due to politics and the adverse topics we talked about above. There will likely be confusion and anxiety, but also support for and from the government.

Birth Pains

We are living through times where a new world is being born, and the chaos is the birth pains. It depends on us, how our future will be and on our choices as we go through these energies. Remember, be the person and show the qualities of the world, nation and collective you want.
